that is no sales argument, because an new boesendorfer fresh from the factory knows nothing about all the great pieces, he (or she, for speaking with tori amos) must learn all the stuff the buyer wants to play with him (or her).
Very well observed. Actually, not only Tory Amos loves Bösendorfer but so did Oscar Peterson and Lennie Bernstein.

But I have to add that I used to test a Bösendorfer before she went to another country and to her new owner. Therefore, the new Bösendorfers that went to Japan knew a little bit about Schubert and Chopin:)
(I had some special pieces used to test specific properties of the piano.)
